Loredo Malcolm is a 42 year-old Jamaican-born Australian performer, choreographer, director and educator with more than two decades of experience in the international performing arts industry.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Loredo trained at the Ashe Caribbean Performing Arts Company before being selected at the age of 19 to join Disney's The Lion King. That opportunity brought him to Australia in 2004 and launched an international career spanning theatre, dance and choreography.

Throughout his career, Loredo has performed in some of the world's most acclaimed musical theatre productions including The Lion King, Wicked, Hairspray, Chicago, The Book of Mormon, Hamilton, La Cage Aux Folles, The Rocky Horror Show, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, and he is currently performing the role of Jermaine Jackson in the Australian production of MJ the Musical.

Alongside his performance career, Loredo has established himself as an accomplished choreographer, creative director and mentor. He is the founder and artistic director of The LOcREaDO Company, creating intensive training programs and original contemporary dance works that bridge commercial musical theatre and concert dance while mentoring emerging artists throughout Australia.

With over twenty years of teaching, choreographing and directing experience, Loredo has worked with thousands of dancers across Australia and internationally. His work is recognised for its strong theatrical storytelling, emotional authenticity and commitment to developing technically skilled, versatile performers.

As both a Jamaican-born artist and Australian citizen, Loredo is passionate about creating opportunities for artistic exchange between cultures. His work continues to focus on nurturing the next generation of performers while building meaningful connections between communities through dance, theatre and creative collaboration.
